The prime time slot in Sun TV is not an easy one to get into. Vikatan Televistas the producer of EMI, Thavanai Murai Vazhkai, has made this serial more appealing to a wide spread of audience. After all who said serials are meant only for housewives?

EMI has it all, no boring close-ups to waste time. No slow and annoying BGMs. It is more like a movie than a serial. Have you watched a serial with fast moving clips to speed up the screenplay? Surprising isn’t it? Well you have an answer now, its EMI.

Initially after a few episodes, I thought this serial is close to what happens in IT – Information Technology Industry. But slowly getting better to become larger than that. With so many characters and their family this serial is getting a wider scope. EMI has a unique blend of IT industry nuances, clinical comedy, family drama, romance and “tamil soap opera”.

So you are wondering if there are no negatives in EMI isn’t it? Well, there is. Firstly there is nothing relating to EMI, i.e., Easy Monthly Instalments. In the first 100 episodes, hardly I saw anything related to the issues in taking EMI or struggling to pay back etc. All characters in the serial are well off and no one gives a damn about EMI. May be we can expect some action in upcoming episodes. After all mega serial it is.

This is a spoiler free review, so I haven’t shared any plot or story. I believe this would give you a heads up that you were looking for. So, what are you waiting for? Tune in or see it in youtube and enjoy!
