Resource Full, We each have the three energies we need to learn to manage – spirit, mind and body. All three need a good diet – body needs pure vegetarian food, your mind needs positive ideas and images, and the spirit that you are needs time in silence and stillness to refresh and renew. These are our resources, and each one needs topping up, otherwise we run on empty and dis – ease comes to visit. But diet is just the beginning. Please exercise!
The Virtue of Sweetness, Just as eating and serving something sweet makes your taste buds feel sweetness, and for a while after, you remain happy, become sweet-natured yourself so that words filled with sweetness are constantly spoken. Such sweet words make both you and others happy.
Use this method to always sweeten everyone’s mouth; constantly maintain sweet vision, sweet words and sweet actions. The deeper lesson of Raja Yoga is that there is benefit in everything that happens. So even when things appear to go wrong they may not be. Making assumptions and the resulting misunderstandings may simply be a lesson for us to learn from!
Don’t live for the weekends, Studies show people who are stressed at work tend to be much happier on the weekend. So don’t only look forward to Saturday and Sunday; try to spread out the joy and plan something fun during the week, like a movie night with friends.
It’s hard to beat a person who never gives up, One should constantly remember the Lord and Pray to Him for mercy. The Lord, situated in the devotee’s heart, responds to such a prayer and illumines his heart with knowledge, which dissipates the darkness of ignorance.
