Sun TV’s Chithi 2 is the leading prime time soap opera airing every night among high TRP serials. This Serial spearheaded by Raadaan media is primarily run by Rathika Sarathkumar and she also is the lead actress in this serial. Following the runaway success of Chithi season 1 that aired for more than five years, Rathika is back with the new season and desperate to win back the bellwether status that she lost because of previous few flop serials after Vani Rani.

Chithi meaning aunty or step mother, that ran from 1999 to 2001 was a huge hit. Actors Yuvarani, Sudhakar, Hemalatha are also said to be part of Chithi 2 and Riyaz Khan may appear in the guest role. Vijay Adhiraj and Tharika may also feature in this new Soap Opera by Sun Network. This serial will also be dubbed and released in Astro Vaanavil TV, Shakthi TV and Deepam TV in Malaysia, Sri Lanka and United Kingdom respectively.

Raadhika has a huge following among Tamil audiences across the world and this serial plot is written such a way to please huge house wife audiences along with young mothers. The Songs ‘Kannimani’ and ‘Vaanathai nokki’ are said to be composed by Dhina and Vairamuthu.
