Ganesh Chaturthi – Hindu Festival

Ganesh Chaturthi is a Hindu Festival celebrated across India in many states. Primarily celebrated in Maharashtra. It is observed to be the birth anniversary of Lord Ganesha, my favorite God. Chaturthi in Hindi means fourth day. It is referring to the fourth after Shukla Paksha, the first fortnight between new moon day and full moon day. Cauliflower with cashewnuts

Ingredients: Cauliflower flowerettes – 12 Whole cashewnuts – 12 Grated coconut – 2 tbsps Curry leaves – 1 sprig Green chillies – 3 Sambar powder – 2 tbsps Turmeric powder a pinch Mustard seeds a few Oil – 1 tbsp Salt to taste Method: Heat the oil in a kadai and splutter the mustard seeds.
